Morgan Lennartz was a key cog for the Fort Recovery volleyball team.
Now she’s making her presence known at the next level.
Lennartz, a 2016 Fort Recovery High School graduate, made her collegiate debut for the Indiana University East volleyball team during the Lindsey Wilson College Volleyball Classic on Friday and Saturday.
The freshman started the season opener, a 3-1 loss (15-25, 25-19, 25-22, 27-25) to Freed-Hardman. She recorded six kills on 22 attacks, totaled four digs and assisted on two blocks.
Later in the day, she tallied four kills, two digs and two blocks in a five-set loss to College of Coastal Georgia.
Lennartz notched three kills and one dig in a loss to NAIA No. 3 Lindsey Wilson on Saturday, before registering six more kills and one dig in a 3-1 four-set defeat to Cumberland University.
The former Indian has 19 kills on 70 attacks with eight digs in 12 sets.
The Red Wolves are 0-4 on the season.

Fort Recovery – 2013

Also played in the Lindsey Wilson Classic as she helped the University of Northwestern Ohio volleyball team to its first win Saturday, 12-25, 25-21, 19-25, 25-23, 17-15 over Indiana University Southeast.
Fiely came up with seven digs for the Racers, who had dropped their opening two matches of the season. She also had one assist.
She recorded a season-high eight digs in a four-set loss Saturday to University of the Cumberlands in the tournament.
In season-opening action Friday, she totaled seven digs and an ace in a four-game loss to Cumberland and had four digs in a loss to Bellevue.
The senior finished with four digs and an ace Tuesday as UNOH (2-3) defeated Southwestern Assemblies of God University in four sets.

Gabbie Mann
Jay County – 2016
Made her collegiate debut for the IPFW women’s soccer team on Friday in a 2-1 loss to Western Michigan.
The freshman totaled 35 minutes on the pitch as a substitute. She did not register any stats.
Mann, who is the Jay County record holder for goals in a career (63) and season (31) also played 13 minutes during a 2-0 victory Sunday at home against Eastern Illinois.
