Cheerleaders seeking help for trip

To the editor:

Each year the Universal Cheerleading Association conducts the National High School Cheerleading Championships which take place in Orlando, Florida, at the Disney World complex.

Jay County High School competed at the November regional in Pendleton to qualify for the national competition. It has been 27 years since Jay County Cheerleaders received such an honor.

We remain dedicated to represent not only our school and community, but also the State of Indiana at nationals. We have big financial goals to reach in addition to our athletic ones.  We have worked very hard to achieve both goals, and in order to realize our financial goal, we know that we need your help. 

The following sponsorships are available, but any amount certainly helps:

•Gold sponsor – donation of $1,000.00

•Blue sponsor – donation of $500.00

•Red sponsor – donation of $250.00

•White sponsor – donation of $100.00

The approximate cost of sending one girl is around $1,000.  We will send 17 girls this winter along with three coaches.

Any level of sponsorship is important to our program, and any amount helps us toward our goal.
