What can I do to stop violence?

To the editor:
In this crazy world that we live in, we don't realize that sometimes we look over things.
Like the increase in shootings in Fort Wayne.
No one really pays attention to these things. Or the recent increase in kidnappings.
I am only writing to you because I want others to be as concerned as I am.
I am only 16 years old and I have been through many things.
I want to stop the violence and the crime.
Yes, I do know that we can't stop everything but I want to help others be great at what they do and I want others to not be scared while walking down the sidewalk at night.
