JCC takes no political stance
Letters to the Editor
To the editor:
As we approach Election Day, many things are said and some are assumed.
As board president of Jay Community Center, I would like to dispel some confusion that has come to my attention.
Jay Community Center is proud to participate in our election process by being a polling place.
We wish all candidates well and hope that their positions and stands on the different issues are clear, so voters can make an informed decision during this process.
Additionally, we see no conflict of interest with any of our employees seeking to serve our community by participating in local politics and exercising their right as a citizen of this country.
As an organization, the center takes no political stance and does not endorse any candidate.
Suggestions that Jay Community Center is for or against any candidate or party are simply unfounded.
