Clinton, Bayh are anti-gun

Letters to the Editor

To the editor:
In the 1990s, the Clinton administration was on record that there is no individual right to keep and bear arms.
Hillary still is.
They put extreme anti-gun justices Ruth Bader Ginsberg and Stephen Breyer on the Supreme Court and gave us the fraudulent “assault weapons” ban that more than doubled the number of these guns on the street.
In 2004, the ban was allowed to expire because it was ineffective and the guns were rarely used in crime. Evan Bayh and Hillary Clinton voted to extend the ban and to let New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg continue trying to bankrupt the firearms industry with frivolous lawsuits.

In 2005, Sen. Clinton sponsored S.645, which expanded the definition of “assault weapon” so much that it would have banned every semi-auto shotgun and every detachable magazine semi-auto rifle currently being manufactured. No new Remington 1100 shotguns would be allowed, and my Ruger 10/22 starter rifle is now a weapon of war.
Clinton and Bayh both voted against John Roberts and Samuel Alito for the Supreme Court, and Bayh voted for extreme left wing anti-gun Justices Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan.
Hillary and Bayh would create an extreme left wing anti-gun majority on the Supreme Court. They both earned their NRA F Rating.
