Garlinger will be honored Saturday
Letters to the Editor
To the editor:
Our Bryant Area Community Center has been functioning because of the dedication and contributionsfrom many local community members, corporate and business sponsors.
The center has been used throughout the year by various family groups, youth, seniors, churches and also as a voting center.
A new security system has been installed, new roofs on both our garage and outside shelter, new shade trees planted on the playground, and various areas inside, including the entire kitchen, have been painted.
Each year we recognize our loyal corporate and business sponsors, Advanced Seal Technology, Bank of Geneva, Bryant Machining & Welding, Cook's Nursery and Trim, Crossroads Federal Credit Union, First Bank of Berne, First Merchants Bank, Fisher Packing Co., Harvest Land Co-Op, Moser Engineering, Inc., Myers Plumbing/Heating/Cooling and Pak-A-Sak, Inc. at our freewill donation dinner.
But, also, this year we will be recognizing one of our community members, John Garlinger, that for many years has contributed both monetarily and with countless hours spent at the center.
So, on Saturday we will be serving from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the center a delicious dinner for a freewill donation. We invite the community to come and help us recognize our corporate and business sponsors and honor our long-time friend of the center, John Garlinger.
Thank you for your support.
Sincerely,
Tom Laux, Jim Haffner, Scott Schoenlein, Jeff Whetstone, Judy Smith and Bob Schmidt
