Food tailgate
United Way of Jay County, Community and Family Services and Second Harvest Food Bank will hold a food tailgate from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Jay County Fairgrounds.

The deadline for the Community Action Poverty Simulation led by Jay County’s Purdue Extension office has been extended.
The event, which will be from 1 to 4 p.m. April 27 at John Jay Center for Learning, is intended to give participants a meaningful taste of what it’s like for families that struggle financially to meet the basic necessities of food and shelter.
Those interested in taking part have until Monday to sign up. To reserve a seat, call (260) 358-4826.

Jay County Republicans will hold their next meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday at Jay County Public Library.
