Felony arrests
Syringe possession
A Dunkirk woman was arrested on a syringe possession charge Wednesday night.
Kisty L. Sands, 27, 511 S. Main St., Dunkirk, was arrested on preliminary charges of unlawful possession of a syringe, a Level 6 felony, and theft by receiving stolen property, a Class A misdemeanor.
She was booked at 3:59 p.m. into Jay County Jail and is being held there on a $4,000 bond.
Habitual traffic violator
A Bluffton man was arrested Wednesday night for violation of a lifetime license suspension and resisting law enforcement.
Nicholas C. Thomas, 34, 5076 E. 700 South, was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle after receiving a lifetime suspension for habitual traffic violations and resisting law enforcement, both Level 6 felonies.
He was booked at 11:29 p.m. into Jay County Jail and is being held there without bond.
