Tuesday at Yorktown: Jay County shot better than 64 percent from the field and limited Yorktown to just one point in the third quarter during a 49-29 win over the Tigers. Cole Stigleman had a season-high 14 points, as Max Moser and Michael Schlechty both chipped in eight points.

Saturday vs. Hamilton Heights: Delta rode a strong first quarter to a 67-60 win over the Hamilton Heights Huskies. Tyler Wilburn and Josh Greenburg led the Eagle scoring attack with 17 points apiece, and Brady Hunt chipped in 14 points.

Last season: Jay County relied too much on the 3-ball but shot poorly from long range in a 64-51 loss to Delta in Muncie. Cole Stigleman and Jason Schlosser had 11 points apiece, and the team’s leading scorer Jay Houck was limited to just seven points after spending most of the game in foul trouble.



Game notes: This is the 54th meeting all time between Jay County and Delta, with the Patriots holding a 32-21 advantage in the series.
