Thanks for helping neighbors

To the editor:

I just wanted to say a public thank you to a very special resident of Golden Age Village on Sesame St.

Jerry Hudson deserves this thank you for all he does for those of us that need a bit of help now and then.

Every Sunday evening he heads down the street to put out the trash cans for those who need assistance and then is back again on Monday to put them away. He returns on Tuesday and Wednesday to take care of their recycle bins.

The other day, I looked outside and he was shoveling my driveway and then went on to do several others. He also mows many of our lawns for a very reasonable fee.

He never says no, just does his best to accommodate us.

So, Jerry, a much-deserved thank you from all of your friends on Sesame St.

I also need to add that he delivers The Commercial Review and it always arrives, no matter what the weather conditions are.
