Hedges family says thank you
Letters to the Editor
To the editor:
Our hearts are full of gratitude when we say many thinks to family members, friends, neighbors and emergency personnel.
The many acts of kindness and sympathy included food, flowers, gifts, donations to Jay County Historical Society and New Beginnings Holiness Church, cards, visits and kind words spoken to our family regarding the recent passing of a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, uncle, son-in-law and brother-in-law, Mark Hedges.
We wanted to express special appreciation to:
•Williamson, Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home for its professional arrangements and caring service.
•Pastors Randy Smith and Greg Rittenhouse for their many words of comfort.
•Jay Emergency Medical Service, Portland Fire Department, first responders and the Jay County Hospital emergency room staff for their services.
Mark will be forever remembered for his humor, love for his family and commitment to the City of Portland.
