With Trump, remain vigilant

To the editor:
Be vigilant, Jack.
In reply to Mr. Domingo: If you are happy with a president who has been shown over and over again to be a promiscuous prevaricator, he is your man.
If you believe Mr. Domingo that a free press is the "enemy of the people" or that "alternative facts" is a rational explanation for mendacity, you voted for the right person.
If it is the job of the attorney general of the United States to do the bidding of a constitutionally ignorant abecedarian, you did well.
You voted Mr. Domingo, in my opinion, for a man well versed in the manners of a demagogue.
As for me, I shall remain hopeful, but vigilant as well.
