Habitual traffic violator

A Portland man was arrested Thursday morning for driving while under a 10-year license suspension.

Dennis E. Roush, 51, 100.5 Moody Ave., Apartment B, was arrested on the preliminary charge of driving while suspended for 10 years as a habitual traffic violator, a Level 6 felony.

He was booked at 7:31 a.m. into Jay County Jail and is being held there on a $6,000 bond.



Probation violation

A Portland man was arrested Thursday night for violating the terms of his probation.

Kristofer K. Hare, 25, 1112 N. Franklin St., was arrested for violating his probation on a previous charge of auto theft, a Level 6 felony.

He was booked into Jay County Jail at 8:44 p.m. and is being held there on a $700 bond.



Possession

A Muncie woman was arrested early this morning on drug-related charges.

Meghan R. Conn, 32, 4500 E. Chesterfield Lane, was arrested on preliminary charges of possession or use of a legend or precursor drug, a Level 6 felony, and operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Class C misdemeanor.

She was booked at 12:58 into Jay County Jail and is being held there on a $4,500 bond.
