Delay has left deep potholes
Letters to the Editor
To the editor:
Towhomever stopped U.S. 27 north of Portland from getting done right, thanks.
It is still not started and there are still semis and cars, which go way too fast anyway, hitting deep potholes. Because I live next to the road, they sound as if they could break an axle.
If it had been done the way the state wanted, it would have been started by now. Rerouting turbines and tractor and engine show trafficis not my concern. Dodging holes daily and hoping no one breaks an axle and drives into my home is.
In two years’ time, you can fill the holes that will be back.
If Ray Cooney hadn’t taken a picture of how bad it was getting they wouldn’t have ever been patched.
So just want to again say thanks.
Rant over.
