Last week at South Adams: Jay County had five turnovers, including four in the fourth quarter, during a 45-28 loss to South Adams. It was the fourth loss in a row for the Patriots. Cole Stigleman had 186 yards from scrimmage, including 110 yards rushing, and Michael Schlechty had a pair of 1-yard rushing TDs for Jay County.
Season leaders: Passing — Holton Hill – 60-for-103 passing for 1,041 yards, 13 touchdowns and three interceptions. Rushing — Michael Schlechty – 94 carries for 488 yards and 10 touchdowns. Receiving — Cole Stigleman – 11 receptions for 240 yards and two touchdowns. Defense — Ethan Theurer – 84 tackles, six tackles for loss and one fumble recovery.

Last week at Crispus Attucks: Arlington scored more than 50 points for the second time in as many games on its way to a 55-6 win over Crispus Attucks. It was the second time this season the Golden Knights got consecutive victories.

Game notes: This is the first — and only — meeting between Arlington and Jay County. Arlington is one of three Indianapolis?Public Schools institutions that will close at the end of the school year ... The Golden Knights are coming off consecutive Indianapolis Conference victories and are 3-0 in league play ... Jay County has lost its last four games. The last time the Patriots had a four-game losing streak was in 2014, during which they lost their final five games to finish 2-8 ... Arlington averages 34.9 points per game, including totaling 49 or more three times. Defensively, the Golden Knights allow 23 points per game.
