Love, 24, 916 E. 100 S., Bluffton, pleaded guilty to driving while suspended, a Class A misdemeanor, and public intoxication, a Class B misdemeanor — For the first charge, sentenced to one year in Jay County Jail with all but two days suspended and given two days credit for one day already served. Assessed $185.50 in court costs and placed on formal probation for 11 months.
For the second charge, sentenced to 180 days in Jay County Jail to be served consecutively to the sentence in the previous charge. All but 50 days were suspended and he was given 50 days credit for 25 days already served. He was assessed $185 in court costs and placed on four months of formal probation consecutively with the previous charge.
Juanette M. Snyder, 34, 210 W. Second St., Portland, was found in violation of her probation stemming from a previous conviction. She also pleaded guilty to possession of paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor, and resisting law enforcement, a Class A misdemeanor — For violation of probation, sentenced to additional 30 days of the 60-day sentence originally imposed in Jay County Jail. Given 24 days for 12 already served. As part of a plea agreement, probation fees of $105 were waived.
For the possession charge, sentenced to 60 days in Jay County Jail with all of the sentence suspended. Assessed $185 in court costs and placed on formal probation for six months.
For the charge of resisting law enforcement, sentenced to one year in Jay County Jail with all but 30 days suspended and given 30 days credit for 15 days already served. Assessed $185 in court costs and placed on formal probation for 11 months. All sentences are ordered to be served consecutively.

Assessed $185 in court costs and ordered to pay a drug abuse, prosecution, interdiction and correction fee of $200 and a Jay Superior court substance abuse program fee of $400. Placed on six months of formal probation.
Coy D. Burks, 50, 45 N Sycamore St., Redkey, pleaded guilty to battery resulting in bodily injury, a Class A misdemeanor — Sentenced to 180 days in Jay County Jail and given 40 days credit for 20 days already served. Ordered to serve remaining 140 days in Jay County Jail. Assessed $185 in court costs.
