Owen Zachary, a son, was born Sept. 21 at St. Vincent Randolph Hospital in Winchester, to Megan Nichols and Jonathan Bales, Portland.

He weighed 8 pounds, 11 ounces.

Grandparents are Randy Nichols, Hartford City, Angie and Steve Schlechty, Portland, Jackie and Shane Shroyer, Fountain City.

Great-grandparents are Jack Bales, Fountain City, Ann and Gary Sicks, Hartford City, and Deva Nichols, Fair Grove, Missouri.

Trissel

Wyatt James, a son, was born Sept. 22 at Jay County Hospital to Shelby Dick, Portland, and Seth Trissel, Geneva.

He weighed 8 pounds.
