Operating without license

A Winchester man was arrested Sunday for a felony-level driving offense. 

James E. Dodd II, 512 E. North St., was arrested on the preliminary charges of operating without a license, enhanced to a Level 5 felony, and operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Class B misdemeanor. 

He was booked at 2:54 a.m. into Jay County Jail and is being held there on a $11,000 bond. 



Possession 

A Redkey man was arrested on multiple drug charges on Saturday. 

Trevin W. Miller, 27, 117 N. Sycamore St., was arrested on a warrant for possession of a syringe, a Level 6 felony, and preliminarily charged with possession of a syringe, a Level 6 felony, and possession of paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor. 

He was booked at 12:08 p.m. into Jay County Jail and is being held there on a $10,500 bond.



Probation violation 

A Portland man was arrested Sunday for violating his probation. 

Joshua R. Pitman, 31, 1237 N. U.S. 27, Lot 63, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation on the original charge of forgery, a Level 6 felony. 

He was booked at 6:39 p.m. into Jay County Jail and is being held there without bond. 



Theft

A Portland man was arrested on a warrant for theft Monday. 

Dustin L. Eicher, 26, 535 W. Walnut St., was arrested on a warrant for auto theft, a Level 6 felony. 

He was booked at 3:15 p.m. into Jay County Jail and is being held there on a $10,000 bond.
