Elderly, Fort menus
LifeStream hosts a Senior Cafe at 11:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday at Jay Community Center, 115 E. Water St. in Portland. Meals are for those 60 and older and a $3.50 donation is suggested. To make a reservation, call (800) 589-1121.
Monday — Sliced ham with pineapple sauce, roll, sweet potatoes, green beans or chicken chef salad, crackers, spinach romaine salad, three-bean salad. Includes fruit and grain bar.
Tuesday — Spaghetti with meat sauce, garlic bread, green peas, garden salad or sliced ham and cheese, bread, lettuce/tomato, confetticole slaw . Includes spiced apple slices.
Wednesday — Chicken and noodles, crackers, broccoli/cauliflower blend, Harvard beets or seafood salad, crackers, marinated veggie salad, garden greens. Includes chocolate cookie orsugar free angel food cake.
Thursday — Hamburger on bun, baked beans, cole slaw or turkey and cheese sandwich, whole wheat bread, carrot raisin salad, lettuce/tomato. Includes spiced peaches.
The following is the menu for Fort Recovery Middle School for the week of April 23. All meals are served with milk.
Monday — Salisbury steak, roll, green beans, strawberries/peaches.
Tuesday — Sausage links, French toast/syrup, hash browns, oranges.
Wednesday — Barbecue meatballs, sweet potato fries, pears, cookie.
Thursday — Pizza casserole, cheese filled breadstick, Caesar salad, pineapple.
Friday — Chicken tenders, butter bread, cowboy beans, applesauce.
The following is the menu for Fort Recovery High School for the week of April 23. All meals are served with milk.
Monday — Chicken patty sandwich, spinach salad, mixed fruit, Cheez its. Ala carte: pizza.
Tuesday — Submarine sandwich, lettuce, tomato, onion and cheese, dill pickle spear, pretzels, strawberries. Ala carte: mini waffles.
Wednesday — Chicken tenders, salad, cowboy beans, mandarin oranges. Ala carte: barbecue quesadilla.
Thursday — Breakfast pizza, tater tots, orange juice, yogurt. Ala carte:burrito .
