Church his hosting revival

Evangelical Methodist Church will host a revival this weekend.

The event will begin at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

There will also be services at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday, with a carry-in dinner following the morning service.

John Myers will serve as the evangelist. The Christianaires will be the song evangelists.

The church is located at 930 W. Main St., Portland.

Blessing bikes

Banner Christian Assembly of God Church will host a blessing of bikes following its 10:30 a.m. service Sunday. The guest speaker will be missionary Dan Walls.

The church is located at 1217 W. Votaw St., Portland.



Performing

Men of Mercy will perform during the 10 a.m. service Sunday at Calvary United Methodist Church. The group is based in Marion and is made up of eight members who sing four-part harmony.


The church is located at 301 N. Main St., Dunkirk.



Free community meal

Bread of Life Community Family Meal will be served from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Monday at Asbury United Methodist Church, 204 E. Arch St., Portland.

Everyone is welcome to share a meal and conversation. The meal this week will be prepared and served by First Presbyterian Church.



Breakfast set

The men’s 4x4 prayer breakfast is scheduled for 8 a.m. Sautrday at West Walnut Church of Christ in Portland.



To perform

Soul’d Out Quartet will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday at Epworth United Methodist Church, 105 W. 8th St. in Matthews.

Members Dusty Barrett (tenor), Jason McAtee (lead), Matt Rankin (baritone), and Ian Owens (bass) sing Southern gospel music. Tickets are $10 at the door.
