Theft
A Farmland woman pleaded guilty in Jay Superior Court to theft, a Level 6 felony.
Jami L. Bullock, 24, 204 East St., was sentenced to 18 months in Jay County Jail with all but nine months suspended and was given 106 days credit for 53 days served. She was assessed court costs of $185 and placed on formal probation for nine months.
Bullock was also found in violation of her probation on the charge of forgery, a Level 6 felony.
She was sentenced to serve an additional five months imposed on April 4, 2017, and was given 150 days credit for 75 days served. Her probation was terminated unsuccessfully.
Probation violation
A Portland woman was sentenced in Jay Circuit Court for violating her probation.
Halley N. Clark, 23, 416 E. High St., was found in violation of her probation imposed on Nov. 19, 2015, for two counts of dealing in a narcotic drug, a Class B felony.
She was sentenced to an additional two years in the Indiana Department of Correction and given credit for time served from March 28 to April 4.
