Arts Place asks for help

Letter to the editor:

Five years ago, the Arts Place board of directors began to study what it would take to transform our Portland center into a campus designed to meet the needs of the community.

The $2.4 million project we developed will add much-needed space, address structural issues and refresh the existing center. Through the generosity of the people of this and surrounding communities, $1.5 million has been raised to date.

The capital campaign committee, board of directors and staff would love to show you the renovation plans for the facility and the many levels of giving opportunities to support this project.

Arts Places was founded on the belief that everyone deserves access to the arts, and each of us has the potential for artistic expression. We invite you to become a part of this endeavor.
