Felony arrests
Failure to appear
An Eaton man was arrested Thursday evening for failing to appear in court.
Drew P. Mitchell, 19, 404 E. Babb Road, was arrested on a warrant for failing to appear in court on the charge of possession of methamphetamine, a Level 6 felony.
He was booked at 5:30 p.m. into Jay County Jail and is being held without bail.
Neglect
A Portland woman was arrested Thursday night for neglect of a dependent.
Leonna Helton, 40, 610 E. Main St., was arrested on the preliminary charge of neglect of a dependent, a Level 6 felony.
She was booked at 9:46 p.m. into Jay County Jail and is being held there on a $3,000 bond.
