Angel Tree says thanks

To the editor:

With the holidays behind us, the Jayland Angel Tree would like to thank the many individuals and businesses for their monetary donations.

A big thank you to FCC and First Bank of Berne for your continued support.

We would like to thank Pit’s Cocktail Lounge and the Greazy Pickle for helping do a fundraiser for Jayland Angel Tree.

We would also like to thank those of you that came in and adopted families. Without all of your donations and support, we wouldn’t have been able to provide Christmas for less-fortunate families.

This year, we were able to help 50 families, which included 122 children and 50 parents. They received gifts, food cards or a food basket. 

This year’s program was a success, and we look forward to next year.
