Thomas S. "Tom" Arnold, 62, Sweetser, Indiana, formerly of Berne, passed away on Jan. 3, 2018, at Visiting Nurse Hospice Home in Fort Wayne.
He was born on May 2, 1955, in Adams County to Glenwood and Norma Cook Arnold. He married Jane Speidel on Feb. 12, 2012.
Tom was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Portland. He was employed at the General Motors Plant in Marion, Indiana. His interests included kite flying, collecting coins and knives, yard work, landscaping and family gatherings.
Survivors include his wife Jane; sons, Chad Arnold of Muncie, and Steven Caylor of Owings, Maryland; a brother, Robert (Sarah) Arnold of Logansport; a sister, Carolyn Sue Arnold of Ceylon; and three grandchildren, Marissa Arnold, Tyler and Peyton Caylor.
Preceding in death are his parents.
Funeral services will be Monday, Jan. 8, at 1 p.m. at the Cornerstone Baptist Church, Portland, with visitation from 10 a.m. to time of services. Officiating is Pastor Wayne Ward with burial in the MRE Cemetery, Berne.
