Dec. 30 at Muncie Central: Jay County had eight of its 24 turnovers in the second quarter and couldn’t figure out the Muncie Central offense during the same period in a 64-55 loss to the Bearcats. Cole Stigleman and Wyatt Geesaman each had a dozen points to lead JCHS?in the loss, its third in the previous four games.

Dec. 26 vs. Bellmont: Adams Central gave up an 11-point lead in the first quarter of a 54-43 loss to Bellmont. It was the fourth consecutive loss for the Jets. Kevin?Brown led the Jets with 12 points and Drew Schultz had nine points.

Last season: A Jay Houck dunk was part of a seven-point spurt in the second quarter that gave Jay County the push it needed for a 46-26 win over Adams Central in Portland. It was the fourth win in a row for the Patriots, who got 19 points and 11 rebounds from Houck. Jason Schlosser chipped in a dozen points. Kevin Brown led the Jets with 10 points.

Game notes: This is the ninth meeting all-time between Jay County and Adams Central, and JCHS has yet to lose to the Jets.
