Felony arrests
Possession, neglect
Two Portland residents were arrested on multiple charges Wednesday.
Luke W. Moles, 20, and Brandi L. Bailey, 21, both of 995 S. Boundary Pike, Apartment 21, were arrested after Portland Police Department conducted a search at their home.
They were both preliminarily charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, possession of a stolen firearm and neglect of a dependent, all Level 6 felonies, and possession of paraphernalia, Class A misdemeanors.
Moles was booked at 11:52 p.m. Wednesday into Jay County Jail and was later released on a $4,500 bond. Bailey was booked at 12:21 a.m. today and was released on a $4,500 bond.
Police also found a large amount of Tannerite, an explosive material used for firearm practice, at the residence, the department reported in a press release. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives will assist in dealing with the material. The Department of Child Services was also contacted to assist with minor children who were present in the apartment.
