Support Bryant community center

Letters to the Editor

To the editor:

Our Bryant Area Community Center has been functioning because of the dedication and contributions from many local community members, corporate sponsors and business sponsors.

The center has been used throughout the years by various family groups, youth, seniors and churches, and also as a voting center. Small projects completed in 2017 at Bryant Area Community Center are as follows: some interior and exterior outlets, new interior and exterior lights, and a new sink in the handicap restroom. Hardwood floors were also refinished.

Each year we recognize our loyal corporate and business sponsors, Advanced Seal Technology, Bank of Geneva, Bryant Machining & Welding, Cook’s Nursery and Trim, Crossroads Federal Credit Union, First Bank of Berne, First Merchants Bank, Fishers Packing Co., Harvest Land Co-Op, Moser Engineering, Inc., Myers Plumbing/Heating/Cooling, Pak-A-Sak, Inc., Progressive Office Products and community members that for many years have contributed both monetarily and with countless hours spent at the center.

On April 7, 2018, we will be serving 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the center a delicious steak dinner for a freewill donation. We invite the community to come and help us recognize our corporate and business sponsors and honor our long-time board member, Judy Smith. Judy has held many volunteer positions such as facilitating fundraisers, supervising the kitchen with purchasing supplies and cooking/serving food, and countless other tasks to ensure the success of the center.

Thank you for your support.

Sincerely,

Tom Laux
