DUNKIRK — East Jay Middle School’s boys cross country team remained undefeated as it was first in a four-team meet at West Jay.
The Chiefs totaled 26 points, edging Delta by three points. Wes-Del totaled 133 for third and West Jay was fourth with 154 points.
East Jay’s girls scored 31 points, two behind Delta. Wes-Del was third with 88 points and West Jay scored 100 points for fourth.
Cameron Clark was the top EJMS boy, finishing second in 11:37. Tyler Manor (third), Thomas LeMaster (fourth), Sebastian Solis (seventh) and Josh Monroe (10th) also scored for the Chiefs.
For West Jay, Logan Zimmerman and Skyler Bee were 16th and 17th respectively. Aiden Stephens (33rd), Lukes Powers (36th) and Jason Ayala (52nd) also ran for the Eagles.
Lydia Keihn led the EJMS girls with her runner-up finish in 12:35. Natalie Carreno (fourth), Mara Bader (sixth), Makaylah Brainerd (ninth) and Emily Manor (10th) rounded out the top five for East Jay.
Makinsey Murphy was the top West Jay runner in 12th place. Hailey Ayala was 14th, Emma Outcalt placed 17th, Sarah McClain finished 29th and Gabbi Bilbrey was 30th.
