Cancer walk moving to September

Jay County Cancer Society is excited to announce to Jay County newspaper subscribers that the 2019 WALK Against Cancer will be making changes this year.

The 2019 WALK Against Cancer will be held on Saturday, Sept. 7, at Jay County Fairgrounds to raise money for Jay County Cancer Society. The cancer society provides financial assistance to cancer patients in Jay County for medical expenses, travel, prescriptions, testing, etc.

Jay County Cancer Society will continue the tradition of the survival dinner along with many of our evening events. We are also excited about many new initiatives that will make the evening a memorable one. Please mark your calendars for Sept. 7.

Remember that 100 percent of the money donated to Jay County Cancer Society remains in Jay County helping our neighbors and friends with their uninsured cancer related expenses.

The Jay County WALK Against Cancer raised more than $40,000 in 2018. We could not help Jay County cancer patients without your support.
