Ralph Williams, 47, 235 W. Cross St., Palestine, Ohio, pleaded guilty to carrying a handgun without a license, a Class A misdemeanor — Sentenced to Jay County Jail for one year with all but four days suspended and given four days credit for two days served. Assessed court costs of $185 and placed on formal probation for one year.
Devin L. Ackman, 23, 416 W. Kem St., Winchester, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Class C misdemeanor — Sentenced to Jay County Jail for 60 days and given four days credit for two days served. The sentence will be served consecutively to the sentence imposed for a felony case in Randolph County. Assessed court costs of $185.50 and ordered to pay an alcohol and drug countermeasures fee of $200. As part of a plea agreement, a charge of driving while suspended, a Class A misdemeanor, was dismissed.
Monica L. Hough, 26, 695 S. Western Ave., Portland, pleaded guilty to theft, a Class A misdemeanor — Sentenced to Jay County Jail for one year with all but 52 days suspended and given 52 days credit for 26 days served. Assessed court costs of $185 and placed on formal probation for 10 months.
Belinda R. Goodpaster, 37, 318 N. Harrison St., Apartment 2, Portland, pleaded guilty to driving while suspended, a Class A misdemeanor — Sentenced to 90 days in Jay County Jail and given two days credit for one day served. Also given credit for time served since March 17. Assessed court costs of $185.50.
Christina M. Holmes, 38, 409 Sherman St., Ridgeville, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct, a Class B misdemeanor — Sentenced to 180 days in Jay County Jail with all but two days suspended and given two days credit for one day served. Placed on formal probation for six months and assessed court costs of $185. A charge of battery resulting in bodily injury, a Class A misdemeanor, was dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
Kaylie S. Vaughn, 22, 5710 E. 900 South, Portland, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct, a Class B misdemeanor — Sentenced to 180 days in Jay County Jail, all suspended. Assessed court costs of $185 and placed on formal probation for six months.
