Detention violation
A Salamonia man was sentenced in Jay Circuit Court to jail for violating his home detention.
Phillip O. LeMaster, 63, 5849 E. 400 South, was found in violation of the terms of his electronically monitored home detention. He was sentenced to detention on March 5 for the charge of theft, a Level 6 felony. LeMaster was ordered to serve the remainder of his sentence at Jay County Jail, with Dec. 1 as the earliest possible release date.
Probation violation
A Portland woman was sentenced in Jay Superior Court to additional jail time for violating her probation.
Abbie S. Affolder, 33, 1024 N. 600 West, was found in violation of her probation on the original charge of possession of methamphetamine, a Level 6 felony. She was ordered to serve an additional 150 days of the sentence imposed on June 8, 2017, and was given 16 days credit. Her probation was terminated unsuccessfully.
Probation violation
A Winchester woman was sentenced in Jay Circuit Court to additional prison time for violating her probation.
Brittany N. Cochran, 25, 531 N. Walnut St., was found in violation of her probation on the original charge of dealing methamphetamine, a Level 5 felony. She was ordered to serve an additional 18 months of the sentence imposed on Nov. 21, 2016. The sentence will be served consecutively to sentences for felony charges in Randolph County. Her probation will be terminated unsuccessfully upon her release from the Indiana Department of Correction.
