Janet Allen-Patch
Janet S. Allen-Patch, 76, of Portland, Indiana, formerly of Montpelier, passed away at 7:40 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
She was born on Thursday, March 26, 1942, in Muncie, Indiana. She married Stanley Patch in September 1998 in Portland, Indiana. Janet was a graduate of Blackford High School.
Janet was a member of New Covenant Fellowship Church in Portland, Indiana. She worked at the Torch Light Restaurant and at a nursing home. She also cleaned many people’s houses.
She loved to proclaim how much she loved Jesus but most of all how she loved her family and friends. She also loved to play the piano and sing.
She will be sadly missed by her husband Stanley Patch, Portland, Indiana; sons Tony (Helen) Billman, Pennville, Indiana, Matthew (wife: Lori) Billman, Hudson, Florida, Nathan (wife: Angela) Billman, Zanesville, Indiana, Clinton Billman, Bluffton, Indiana, and Charles (wife: Emily) Billman, East Brunswick, New Jersey; step-daughters Kimberly (husband: John) Lehman, Berne, Indiana, and Karen (husband: Ray) Wilson, Portland, Indiana; stepsons Mark Patch, Bryant, Indiana, and James Patch, Bunker Hill, Indiana; sisters Lois and Judy; brothers Robert and Ethan; 35 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father Eugene Allen; mother Eva (Wanita) Allen; and eight brothers and sisters.
There will be a private family visitation at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home Montpelier.
Preferred memorials are to be made to the funeral home to help the family during these difficult times.
Arrangements are being handled by Walker & Glancy Funeral Home in Montpelier.
