Carl Dillman
Carl A. Dillman, 77, Lafayette, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2019 at Franciscan Health in Lafayette.
He was born March 9, 1941, in Portland to the late Kenneth and Ella (Wentz) Dillman. Carl was raised on a farm in Jay County. He graduated from Pennville High School in 1959. He graduated from International Business College in Fort Wayne.
Carl worked as an accountant for most of his career, and he was the owner of Powermark LTD and Dairy Queen in Lafayette.
His marriage was to Marjorie Powell, and she survives. Surviving with his wife is a son, Jeffery Dillman of Lafayette; two daughters, Lori Dillman of Lafayette and Susan Unger of Coon Rapids, Minnesota; a brother, Joe Dillman of Dunkirk; and a sister, Jeannie Hiller of Greenwood, South Carolina.
Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Jayson Benner, Ashlie Marsell (husband: Jordan), Bradley, Brett and Rebecca Dillman, and Ethan and Carlee Unger, as well as five great-grandchildren, Ryker, Easton and Nox Marsell, and Ethan and Austin Dillman.
Private graveside services will be held at a later date.
