One final meet. Two more wins.
The Jay County middle school swim team closed out its dual season on Monday by sweeping the Blackford Bruins.
Seven individual victories and two relay wins carried the girls to a 184-5-105.5 triumph over Blackford while the boys topped the Bruins 147-103.
Mara Bader and Morgan DeHoff each won a pair of events. Bader took the top spot in both the 200-yard freestyle and 50 butterfly, while DeHoff touched the wall first in the 200 individual medley and the 100 backstroke.
Hanna Laux (50 freestyle), Maddy Snow (diving) and Abby Johnson (100 freestyle) were also first in their respective events.
Garnering individual wins for the boys were Josh Monroe (200 freestyle), Nick Lyons (diving), Joseph Dow (100 freestyle), Ralph Link (400 freestyle) and Wyatt Kunkler (100 breaststroke).
The girls 200 freestyle as well as the 300 freestyle relay teams both won.
The 300 freestyle relay for the boys also finished first.
Jay County hosts the Allen County Athletic Conference championships at 5 p.m. Friday at JCHS.
