Fined and sentenced 

Cody J. Conkright, 25, last known address in Michigan, pleaded guilty to battery resulting in bodily injury, a Class A misdemeanor — Sentenced to Jay County Jail for six months and given credit for time served since Feb. 20. Assessed court costs of $185 and ordered to pay a domestic violence prevention and treatment fee of $50. 

Lisa K. Buckner, 49, 660 E. Water St., Portland, was found in violation of her probation on the original charge of possession of a controlled substance, a Class A misdemeanor — Ordered to serve an additional 34 days of the sentence imposed on Oct. 31 and given 24 days credit for 12 days served. Remaining time will be served on weekends. Will return to probation upon her release from jail. 

John G. Osborne, 40, 827 Hosier Drive, New Castle, pleaded guilty to driving while suspended, a Class A misdemeanor — Sentenced to Jay County Jail for 90 days and given 44 days credit for 22 days served. Assessed court costs of $185. 

Joseph M. Brown, 24, 1912 E. Elm St., Lima, Ohio, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor — Sentenced to 180 days in Jay County Jail with all but 20 days suspended and given four days credit for two days served. Assessed court costs of $185, placed on formal probation for 160 days and ordered to pay a drug abuse, prosecution, interdiction and correction fee of $200.
