Grant application period is now open

The Portland Foundation is accepting applications for its summer grants.

Applications that are open include standard grants as well as Teacher Creativity Mini Grants. The foundation is also accepting applications for scholarships for current college students.

KiPS sign-up open

Registration is open for Jay County Public Library’s Kindergarten Prep School (KiPS).

The program will run on Tuesdays from June 11 through July 30. Applications are available at the library.

A Go Ivy event will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at Kennedy Library, 1700 W. McGalliard Road, Muncie.
