Express enrollment sessions scheduled

Students interested in signing up for summer and fall classes have several additional opportunities to do so.

Ivy Tech Community College’s Muncie campus is hosting six express enrollment events beginning next week.

Express enrollments will be held at the campus at 4301 S. Cowan Road from 9 to 5 p.m. May 30 and June 6, 13 and 27. There will also be sessions from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 20 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 22.

Attendees can receive assistance in applying for admission, seeking financial aid and registering for classes. They should bring a copy of test scores and a high school transcript.

Summer classes start June 10 and fall classes start Aug. 26.

On the list

Katy Smeltzer has been named to the dean’s list at University of the Cumberlands for the spring semester. To be named to the list, students must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Offering program

Swiss Village will offer its Summer Junior Volunteer Program this year.

The program places students ages 10 and older in volunteer positions at Swiss Village, Kinder Haus or Muselman Wellness Pavilion. It runs May 28 through Aug. 9.
