Fred E. Steveson, age 81, of Portland, passed away Tuesday morning, Nov. 19, 2019, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 18, 1938, in Piqua, Ohio, the son of Jesse and Mary (Stem) Steveson. He was married Nov. 4, 1956, to Marcella L. Yaney, who survives.
He was retired from 3M.
Surviving are his wife Marcella; two daughters, Debra Craig (husband: Steve) of Portland and Penny Roush (husband: Jim) of Portland; two brothers, Dale Steveson (wife: Emily) of Bellfountain and Tom Steveson (wife: Linda) of Muncie; two sisters, Mary Ann Rigby (husband: Terry) of Bryant and Wilma Larmore of Kansas City, Missouri; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be Friday, Nov. 22, 2019, at 2 p.m. in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery in Bryant. Visitation will be Friday from noon to 2 p.m.
