Brunswick makes ACAC first time

Charlie Brunswick led a group of four Jay County High School football players to earn All-Allen County Athletic Conference honors as he was named to the first team.

Brunswick earned the first-team honor for his efforts on the offensive line. The senior was joined on the line by Justin Burnham (Heritage), Corbin Hirschy (Adams Central), Carter Lewis (South Adams) and Ryan Thompson (Bluffton).

The Patriots’ Bailey Cox was named to the second-team on offense as a running back after totaling 827 yards and seven touchdowns during his junior season. Second team defensive players for JCHS were linebacker Rylee Huftel (47 tackles, one interception) and defensive back Quinn Faulkner (18 tackles, one interception and two passes defensed).
