Chrissy Bray and Chris Schanz are planning a Nov. 2 wedding.
Chrissy is the daughter of Kevin and Pamela Bray of Hillsboro, Ohio. Chris is the son of David and Teresa Schanz of Saginaw, Michigan.
The prospective bride is a 2012 graduate of Shawnee State University. She earned a bachelor of science degree in athletic training, then obtained her master’s degree in applied exercise science from Ashland University in 2016.
The prospective groom is a first generation college graduate after receiving a bachelor of science degree in journalism in 2011 from Central Michigan University.
Chrissy is an athletic trainer at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, Ohio. Chris has served as sports editor of The Commercial Review for more than six years and his last day will be Oct. 31.
