Last week at Huntington North: Jay County’s defense unraveled on the opening drive in a 56-0 loss to the Huntington North Vikings. The Patriots, who were shut out for the second consecutive week, fell behind 42-0 at halftime and allowed 341 yards of total offense to the Vikings while only gaining 32 yards themselves and failing to cross midfield.
Season leaders: Passing — Sheldon Eley – 2-for-5 for negative-1 yard and one interception. Rushing — Quinn Faulkner – 10 carries for 35 yards. Receiving — Shawn Fisher – one catch for three yards. Defense — Kess McBride – 11 tackles and one tackle for loss

Last week at Blackford: Southern Wells allowed 37 consecutive points to start the game in a 37-7 loss to the Blackford Bruins. Blackford out-gained Southern Wells 223-53, and a majority of the Raiders’ yards came on a 45-yard Jed Perry rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter.?
