Naloxone training scheduled at hospital

IU Health Jay will host free naloxone training next week.

The training session is scheduled for 2 p.m. in conference room A and B at the hospital. Participants will receive training about overdoses, learn how to use naloxone properly and hear from a peer recovery coach. There will also be time for a question-and-answer session.

The event is free, and participants will receive naloxone kits.



Workshop set

Darke County Genealogy will host its fall workshop at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 5 at Garst Museum, 205 N. Broadway, Greenville, Ohio.

Dana Palmer will be the featured speaker for the event. Discussions will include using ancestor.com, using Fold 3 for military research, reading German handwriting and Ohio genealogy.
