Residential entry
A Portland man faces a preliminary charge of residential entry, a Level 6 felony, after apparently entering the wrong house late Thursday night.
Miguel Juan Tomas, 20, 805 W. Race St., was arrested by Portland police after a resident of the west 900 block of Race Street reported that an intoxicated man had entered her house. Tomas is being held in Jay County Jail on $4,500 bond. He also faces misdemeanor charges of resisting an officer, public intoxication and consumption of alcohol by a minor.
