Dealing

An Ohio woman is being held on $43,000 bond in Jay County Jail after she was allegedly caught dealing illegal drugs.

Heather R. Best, 35, 310 Taffy Court, Union City, Ohio, was charged with dealing in cocaine, narcotics or methamphetamine, a Level 2 felony.



Possession

A Portland woman and a Farmland man are being held in Jay County Jail following their recent arrest for allegedly possessing illegal drugs.

Matthew A. Culy, 41, 302 W. Henry, is being held on $20,000 bond after he was arrested Monday for possession of a narcotic drug, a Level 5 felony.

Mya L. Walker, 22, 228 W. McNeil St., was charged with possession of cocaine, narcotics or methamphetamine and unlawful possession of a syringe, both Level 6 felonies. She also apparently violated her probation related to two other Level 6 felony charges of possession of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of a syringe. She was arrested Sunday and is being held on $4,500 bond.



Assisting

A Portland woman is being held on $4,500 bond in Jay County Jail after she was arrested Sunday and charged with two felonies.

Casey L. Matson, 33, 652 E. Floral Ave., was charged with assisting a criminal and dealing in a schedule I, II or III controlled substance, both Level 6 felonies.



Resisting

A Portland man is back in Jay County Jail days after he was released on $4,500 bond.

Michael L. Brown, 25, 1237 W. Main St., had an original charge of resisting an officer, a Level 6 felony, which he was first arrested for on Wednesday. He is now being held on $5,000 bond.
