Rep is here to stay

To the editor:

The opinion expressed by The Commercial Review concerning U.S. Rep. Jim Banks was published in the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette on Thursday, Dec. 17.

It is no surprise to many of us in the 3rd Congressional District that another looney attack on Representative Banks should occupy lots of column inches in the left-wing raging rag called the Journal Gazette. They hate the guy, too.

In an opinion I submitted to the JG some time ago prior to the election I pointed out that there are more of us than there is of them, and Representative Banks will hold this seat for as long as he wants, and only when he decides to do something else will the seat become vacant.

I am fortunate that we have a person like Jim Banks for our representative in the House. It is little wonder you left wing crackpots who own newspapers do not like him. After all, he is pro-life. He is a Godly man. He is a patriot. He loves his country. He is a devoted family man.

There was an opinion printed in the JG by an uninformed person chastising Representative Banks for voting against the CARES Act. Of course you left wing newspaper owning crack pots never told your readers the unpatriotic nut case speaker of the House threw a bill of about 110 pages at the members and only gave them 30 minutes to read it, did you? Good for Jim Banks. After all, it was only a couple of trillion dollars.

You see, I am part of what is referred to as the silent majority. Except, I will not remain silent, and call you newspaper owning crack pots out when you attack a good man like Jim Banks. You can print all you want against the guy. Get used to him, and me. Unlike Jim, I am in the advanced check out lane of life and will not be around for long. Jim is a young man, and will be. So there.

Maybe you should take a drive up to Fort Wayne and have lunch with the editorial girls at the JG.
