Fined and sentenced

James Oberkiser, 58, 6906 Elzey St., Fort Wayne, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle with an alcohol concentration equivalent of .15 or more, a Class A misdemeanor — She was sentenced to 365 days in Jay County Jail with all but four days suspended and given four days credit for two days served. His driver’s license was suspended for 90 days. He was placed on probation for 361 days, assessed court costs of $185.50 and ordered to pay $400 for a substance abuse program and $200 in alcohol and drug countermeasure fees. As part of his plea agreement, a Class C misdemeanor charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated was dismissed.
