Possession
Three Jay County residents and a Muncie resident were sentenced on drug possession charges.
Brittany D. Pullins, 20, 117 S. Broad St., Dunkirk, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine, a Level 6 felony. As part of her plea agreement, charges of public intoxication and unlawful possession of a syringe were dismissed. She was sentenced to one year in Jay County Jail with all but 122 days suspended and given 122 days credit for 61 days served. She was placed on probation for eight months, assessed court costs of $185 and ordered to pay $400 for a substance abuse program and $200 in drug abuse, prosecution, interdiction and correction fees.
Brent A. Kirby, 33, whose last known address was in Pennville, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine, a Level 6 felony. He was sentenced in Jay Superior Court to one year in Jay County Jail with all but 120 days suspended and given four days credit for two days served. He was placed on probation for eight months, assessed court costs of $185 and ordered to pay $200 in drug abuse, prosecution, interdiction and correction fees.
Blake A. Jester, 36, 5000 N. Hickory Ave., Muncie, pleaded guilty to possession of a narcotic drug, a Level 6 felony. As part of his plea, a charge of visiting a common nuisance was dismissed. He was sentenced in Jay Superior Court to one year in Jay County Jail with all but 90 days suspended and given 46 days credit for 23 days served. He was placed on probation for nine months, assessed court costs of $185 and ordered to pay $400 for a substance abuse program and $200 in drug abuse, prosecution, interdiction and correction fees.
Travis N. Sewell, 33, whose last known address was in Portland, pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of a syringe, a Level 6 felony. He was sentenced in Jay Superior Court to 18 months in Jay County Jail with all but 180 days suspended and given 162 days credit for 81 days served. He was placed on probation for one year and assessed court costs of $185.
Theft
A man whose last known address was in Portland pleaded guilty to theft, a Level 6 felony.
Tyler K. Money, 26, was sentenced in Jay Superior Court to 18 months in Jay County Jail with all but 180 days suspended and given two days credit for one day served. He was placed on probation for one year, ordered to pay $500 to Pak-A-Sak and assessed court costs of $185.
Probation violations
Brenda K. Coblentz, 57, 3305 Illama Ave., Fort Wayne, was found to have violated his probation related to an original charge of theft, a Level 6 felony. He was ordered to serve an additional 180 days of his original sentence and given 26 days credit for 13 days served.
Anthony J. Harvey, 28, 301 W. Washington St., Dunkirk, was found to have violated his probation related to an original charge of unlawful possession of a syringe, a Level 6 felony. He was ordered to serve an additional 120 days of his original sentence and given 88 days credit for 44 days served.
