DUNKIRK?— Every player scored.
It was that kind of night for the West Jay Middle School boys basketball teams Thursday.
The seventh grade Eagles got points from every player on the roster in a 44-33 victory over the visiting South Adams Starfires. The eighth grade squad also won, 35-30.
Eli Goodspeed’s 16 points led the deep scoring effort for the seventh graders, who jumped above .500 at 6-5. Ben Crouch joined him in double figures with 12 points.
Mason Johnson, Keegan Wasson and Luke Fugiett each added three points, Rylee Sollars, Vasin Ridgway and Trentin Street scored two apiece, and Zedrian Vazquez finished with one.
Parker Nichols’ 17 points led the way for the eighth grade Eagles, who improved to 7-3. Liam Garringer had eight points, and Trevin Dunnington scored five.
