Semi accident
A semi driver backed his vehicle into a parked semi while attempting to park in a spot next to it at J Star Farms at 7500 Indiana 26, Portland, at 2:20 p.m. Wednesday.
Ruiz M. Loandy, 37, Miami, Florida, hit another semi while attempting to park a 2020 Freightliner registered to Ryder Truck Rental Inc. based out of Jeffersonville. The parked 2018 Kenworth was registered to All Trucks Inc. based out of Hilliard, Ohio. Damage was estimated between $2,500 and $5,000.

A Hartford City man was treated for minor cuts to his arm after he drove over a bump on Railroad Street as it turns into county road 1150 West in Dunkirk, lost control of his vehicle and drove through some trees off the road at about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Reace S. Cavanaugh, 20, was treated at the scene. He was driving an eastbound 2002 Chrysler 300. Damage was estimated between $2,500 and $5,000.
Parking lot accident
A Portland man failed to see he was backing his truck into a parked car at a Circle K gas station, 729 S. Meridian St., Portland, at about 2 p.m. Monday.
Ryan A. Markle, 39, was attempting to back his Ford 150 out of a parking spot when he accidentally drove it into a parked 2011 BMW registered to Mary J. Stewart, Union City. Damage was estimated between $1,000 and $2,500.
Driveway accident
A Portland woman backed her 2017 Dodge Journey into another vehicle that was parked in her driveway as she was attempting to leave her house at 805 S. Chicago Ave.
Kristen N. Miller, 30, reversed her Dodge into a parked 2012 Toyota Camry registered to Daniel J. Fisher, Portland, at 7:04 p.m. Tuesday. Damage was estimated between $1,000 and $2,500.
Gas station accident
A Ridgeville man backed his 1999 Dodge Durango into another vehicle while attempting to leave a gas pump at the Circle K on 325 N. Meridian St., Portland, at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday.
Brett M. Bailey, 29, backed his Dodge into a 2014 Ford Fusion that was directly behind him and was being driven by Bridget L. Frazier, 42, Portland. Damage was estimated between $1,000 and $2,500.
